Many popular streamers, including Kai Cenat and Ludwig, have streamed themselves playing through the entire Elden Ring campaign in the lead-up to Shadow of the Erdtree, challenging every boss until they beat the game. Mizkif is the latest to take on the gaming gauntlet, streaming for 96 hours and staying awake for 40 hours straight.
Elden Ring is a Soulslike, where just one mistake in combat can lead to certain death, forcing you to restart at the nearest respawn campfire. Due to the game’s difficulty and high restart rate, streamers have broadcast their attempts to great success, with viewers quickly becoming interested in their chances of winning.
Mizkif spent a total of 96 hours completing Elden Ring, although he did take a few sleep breaks in between streams. Streaming for so long had Mizkif reaching a state of ecstasy towards the end of his run, and when he finally defeated the final boss, he covered his face with his hands and repeatedly chanted "I'm finally done" as his chat congratulated him. Mizkif was lucid enough to come up with a joke, saying "I expect a statue," referring to the life-sized Malenia figure that developers FromSoftware had sent to Kai Cenat.
