Ikea has released a new wireless charger that attaches to the underside of your desk or table, allowing you to use almost any surface as a wireless charger.

Ikea is getting more and more into wireless charging, with a new wireless charger that can be attached to the underside of almost any desk or table. The $39.99 Sjömärke creates a wireless Qi charging hotspot under the surface it’s attached to.
Unlike most Qi charging pads, which are physical items that sit on your desk, the Sjömärke is a 7-inch by 3-inch aluminum and plastic charger that works through both wood and plastic. You can attach it to your surface with double-sided tape or screws.
Ikea recommends using it on surfaces that are between 0.9 and 2.1 cm thick. This will prevent problems with the transmission of the electrical signal from the device to your phone.
