Immortals Fenyx Rising is a breath of fresh air when it comes to mythological games. With the recent focus on a number of games set in the mythological past of the Greeks, Nords and more, Immortals Fenyx Rising feels like it is creating its own branch. This game is what Lil' Dicky is to hip-hop and by that comparison I mean that the game is a lot of fun, but at the same time creates its own parallel with a whole new identity and lightness.

Immortals Fenyx Rising begins with banter between Zeus and Prometheus. As you play, Prometheus tells the tale of a humble warrior whose first taste of combat throws him into a great battle of Gods and Monsters.

Typhon is the biggest villain in the story, but to catch him you will need about 30 hours of gameplay. The pace of the stories and the jokes and light-hearted humor keep you on the edge of your seat the entire game. It never feels like a burden, the gameplay fits perfectly with the humor and aesthetic of the game.

Even with a solid 10+ hours of non-stop play, you will definitely want to play more. The game offers players a ton of stuff added with weapons wielded by the gods themselves and as you progress, you will keep unlocking more stuff that will help you in your divine crusade.
