These two champions are powerful League of Legends AD carries Kalista and Senna. They’ve both dominated the bottom lane meta, despite the former being picked as a support three times. The marksmen achieved a 91 percent pick and ban rate at MSI 2024, according to League stats site Oracle’s Elixir. When Kalista was picked as an ADC, he achieved a 52 percent win rate, while that number reached a staggering 68 percent for Senna.
Both champions reached the top thanks to their unique abilities and scaling. Kalista has a powerful ultimate that allows you to attack enemies and save a teammate when needed. Furthermore, she is mobile and becomes more powerful as the game progresses, much like Senna. Senna relies on scaling by picking up Mists, allowing teams to pick an aggressive support like Ornn alongside her, increasing the threat of their composition.
Kalista and Senna were the only champions to reach the 90 percent threshold. In fact, the third highest presence champion at the tournament was K’Sante. Despite being terrible in solo queue, he is arguably the strongest top laner in the competitive scene right now. He is a perfect mix of tank and fighter, making him a dangerous addition to any team in the tournament meta. Some fans even started calling for Riot Games to remove K’Sante from the game after some absurd fights at MSI 2024.
