As announced in the run-up to Gamescom Live, Indiana Jones debuted at the end of the show with a flashy trailer, a PC release date, and even the reveal that the game is coming to PS5.

Indiana Jones and The Great Circle had an extended segment at Gamescom Live, featuring a gameplay trailer narrated by none other than Indiana Jones himself (or… Troy Baker, I think), which featured puzzles, some combat, and a Nazi being hurled into an open pit, which is just plain awesome.

The PC release date is December 9, 2024, and the PS5 release date is currently scheduled for Spring 2025.

That means it’s only a few months until you’ll be able to desecrate graveyards like Indie, steal priceless culturally significant relics (because they belong in a museum), and swing your whip around with truly inhuman skill. We also got a few more glimpses at how the game will play here, with first-person being the primary perspective for combat and exploration, with the game switching to third-person for certain navigational obstacles, such as climbing with your whip. Personally, I’d say that’s a wonderful change, as I can’t think of anything more puke-inducing than swinging your whip back and forth through the confined corridors of a very sacred graveyard.
