The easiest way to insert/create a table in MS Word 2016
A table consists of rows and columns of cells in which you place text. The simplest method for inserting a table in Word allows you to create a table consisting of up to 10 columns and 8 rows.
Place the cursor where you want the table to appear.
In the Tables group, select Table and drag across the cells to select the number of columns and rows you want.
