Have you ever been working on a Microsoft Word document and wanted to make a comment or annotation? Or maybe you’ve finished some work on your document and now need to edit or delete an existing comment? Well, don’t worry, in this article we’ll show you how to insert comments into your Microsoft Word documents and how to edit or delete existing comments.
When you open Microsoft Word, you will find the commenting tools on the Review tab. There are two different groups of tools specifically for comments. The first is the Comments group, which allows you to add a new comment, delete it, navigate to the next or previous comment, and view all comments at once. The second is the Tracking group, which is for keeping track of changes to the text and comments. But it also contains tools for changing how the comments are displayed in the document.
There are three ways to leave a comment in newer versions of Microsoft Word. You can use the New Comment tool on the Review tab, the Comment tool on the Insert tab, or you can use a keyboard shortcut. Let's start with the first method:
