Instagram lets users decide for themselves how much or how little sensitive content they want to see on the platform.
How to Enable Sensitive Content Control on Instagram
The social network on Tuesday introduced the Manage Sensitive Content feature, which lets people decide for themselves whether they want to see sensitive content on the Explore tab.
Instagram defines sensitive content as “posts that don’t necessarily break our rules but may be upsetting to some people, such as posts that are sexually suggestive or violent.”
"You can choose to leave everything as is, or you can adjust the Sensitive Content Control to see more or less of certain types of sensitive content. We recognize that everyone has different preferences for what they want to see in Explore, and this control gives people more choice over what they see," Facebook wrote in its post announcing the feature.
