Instagram experienced several hours of outages in several countries overnight. However, according to Android Police, the outage appears to have primarily affected India, while users in countries like the United States and Germany were largely unaffected.

Down Detector, a website that collects outage reports for various websites, first reported major outages on the platform around 10 or 11 p.m. PT. While the issues appear to have been resolved at this point, it appears that users were impacted by the downtime for several hours, with reports increasing early this morning around 4 a.m. PT.
