Intel fans looking for a GPU that can compete with Nvidia's GeForce cards and AMD's Radeon graphics cards will have to wait a little longer.
Here's Why You Should…and DON'T Buy Intel ARC GPUs!
The computer chip manufacturing giant has finally revealed the release schedule for its highly anticipated Arc graphics cards, as announced in an official blog post. They are going for a phased release schedule that prioritizes manufacturers over ready-made computer builders.
The first part of that launch has already happened, as Arc chips are now available in Samsung laptops in South Korea, with other laptop makers set to follow in the “coming weeks,” as revealed in a tweet. Intel is also working with other major laptop OEMs like Lenovo, Acer, Asus, and HP to integrate the entry-level Arc 3 chipset.
As for the more powerful Arc 5 and Arc 7 laptop GPUs, the company says they will be available to manufacturers early this summer.
