The Intelli PowerHub won’t fit in a pocket and won’t win any style awards, but it claims to be able to charge every device I own. And that’s true; I can’t think of a single electronic device I own that couldn’t draw power from this thing. But a few odd design choices have me eyeing the PowerHub with a sideways glance.

Companies send me a lot of emails, and they’re usually about products that charge my devices. In fact, devices that charge are as common as cats; every PR person assures me of the universality of their product.

Some chargers have style, some have power, and in rare cases, some have both. I decided to try out the PowerHub to see where it sits on that continuum. Here’s what I found.
