iPhone users around the world can now get their hands on the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system: iOS 15. iOS 15 has been in testing for much of this summer and brings a bunch of improvements to the way you use your iPhone, but as with all things, change isn’t for everyone.
How to Fix Do Not Disturb Issue on iOS 15
Several iPhone owners have been left upset after discovering that they could no longer see notifications for messages or calls on their phone when they had enabled Do Not Disturb mode.
After updating their devices to iOS 15, users noticed that they were unable to receive notifications for calls, texts, and apps on their iPhones. The issue appears to revolve around iOS’s new Focus feature, which is what Apple itself has turned into the Do Not Disturb (DND) option.
Up until iOS 14, users could use DND and still see notifications when their iPhones were unlocked (if they had this setting enabled). This way, users wouldn’t see notifications they get when their iPhone screen is off, but they would see them as soon as they unlocked their device. These notifications could be anything from call alerts to text messages to regular app-related updates.
