The iPhone 14 comes out on September 7 and is full of surprises.
Why I Don't Use an iPhone: An Android User's Perspective
Apple’s fall iPhone event is almost here, and rumors and leaks are suggesting an odd mix of old and new. For example, Apple typically holds onto the design of the iPhone’s body for two years before changing it, so this year’s event should see a new shape (after the iPhones 12 and 13 shared a design). But that’s not going to happen. The focus this year will likely be on the display and cameras.
"I'm most excited about the periscope camera," photography enthusiast and software developer Stavros Zavrakas told Lifewire via email. "Photography is my hobby, so higher resolution is essential. With the periscope camera on the iPhone, I don't have to pay for a high-end camera."
We’re expecting the iPhone 14 Pro to get an all-new screen design, ditching the notch in favor of a pill/punch design for the front-facing cameras, which could look like a big exclamation point on its side. It’ll probably seem very strange at first, but it’s something we’ll get used to, just like the notch on the iPhone X.
