Taking a screenshot on your iPhone is usually a quick process. On older versions of the iPhone, it’s as simple as pressing the Home button and the power button at the same time. If you have an iPhone X, XS, XS Max, or XR, press the Power button and Volume Up button at the same time to capture the contents of your screen. Check the Photos app. Often the screenshot feature will work, but the screenshots will be saved somewhere you haven’t looked at. Open the Photos app and go to the Albums tab. Then select Recent to see your recent photos, or select Screenshots to see screenshots.
