MLB The Show 21 is the game that everyone was waiting for. The high expectations led to a great launch, although with a few problems. It was released on consoles, that is PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. But will PC players be able to experience the joy of this game through a subscription service? Or is the official PC version of MLB The Show 21 coming soon? Find out here.
Why is Sony's MLB The Show 21 on Game Pass?
The game hasn’t been released on PC along with consoles, but is MLB The Show 21 available on PC via Game Pass? Many are curious because it was released on Xbox Game Pass for Xbox consoles in April 2021, so it must be coming to PC. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. MLB The Show 21 is not coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC just yet.
That’s a bummer for fans of the series, but don’t despair just yet. While the series was previously exclusive to PlayStation, it made its way to Xbox consoles this year. It was a surprise move that opens the door for the title to be available on other platforms. You can play MLB The Show 21 on Android phones and tablets via the Xbox Cloud Gaming service. It’s in beta now, and Ultimate members can take full advantage of the feature on their mobile devices.
Based on what we know so far, I think Sony is likely working on a MLB The Show 21 PC version. Considering that the company has started releasing some of its PlayStation exclusives on PC, it seems like MLB 21 isn’t far behind in the pipeline. It could be a natural progression from an exclusive to a game that’s available on both PC and consoles, considering it’s one of their biggest games. This will broaden the audience to a whole new level, which this game definitely deserves.
