Everywhere you look these days, you’ll see the word “Zoom” popping up. That’s because the California-based cloud platform has taken the world by storm with its intuitive yet professional-looking user interface. As lockdowns were enforced across the country, businesses, schools, and even my own yoga classes (yes, I do yoga, it’s cool!) were forced to switch to video conferencing.
Zoom Basic vs Zoom Pro – (What's the Difference, Free vs Paid)
Zoom allows users to create video conferences and webinars. While the list of video conferencing apps is virtually endless, we’ll focus on the webinar aspect of Zoom.
As the name suggests, a webinar is a web (video) seminar. Zoom Webinar is an add-on to Zoom's Video Conferencing feature.
Zoom Video Webinars allow you to separate panelists from the audience, which is especially helpful if you have a large number of viewing-only attendees. This separation allows for a focused flow of information, which is not what a Zoom Meeting is about.
