If you’ve ever watched IShowSpeed’s streams, you’ve probably noticed that he has a few go-to moves to keep things lively. Now, he’s closing in on a world record for one of those moves. And no, it’s not a bark.

Speed is currently in the midst of a self-proclaimed world record attempt for the most backflips completed in 24 hours. And he’s making excellent progress, too. He only started about seven hours ago, and his tally stands at 500 backflips at the time of writing—just under halfway to the world record of 1,001. While he’s understandably slowed down from his initial pace, and he’s taken plenty of breaks to nap and take rests, that world record should be within his grasp if he can keep his pace steady. If the world record even counts, that is.

While Speed is currently on an impressive pace, it doesn't appear that the fine folks over at the Guinness Book of World Records actually knew about this world record attempt. "We had no idea this was happening but do it bro," the Guinness account wrote in response to Speed's tweet about the attempt. And while Speed streamed the entire thing, it's unclear whether the world record will count, even if he does 1,002 backflips in one day.
