There are few moments in gaming that stand out as much as War Thunder players leaking military documents online to prove a point. Despite the developers’ best efforts, the community continues to dig into secret information and has once again posted secret manuals, this time for Russian tanks.
THEY LEAKED SECRET DOCUMENTS AGAIN!
The leak emerged earlier this week during a forum discussion about the Russian T-90M, T-80BVM, and T-90S main battle tanks, all of which are currently in service and feature in War Thunder itself. The shared documents are user manuals intended for those who operate the vehicles and, like most other military documents, have been classified or declared sensitive, despite containing relatively superficial information. Community managers on the War Thunder forum have since removed all posts containing the documents, though the files continue to circulate online.
This is one of three leaks that have emerged in the past week, though not all of them are directly linked to War Thunder. The first involved the publication of documents about the British Challenger main battle tanks on the game’s forums, though that information has since been made publicly available via the UK’s National Archive.
A few days earlier, Chinese Telegram users leaked sensitive files about the F-15 and F-35 fighter jets, as revealed in a report by Forbes. War Thunder players shared parts of it on the official forums during a discussion about the state of the F-15 in the game.
