There were many rumors about Google's new TV streaming device. Now we have confirmation about its design, some features and price.
RIP CHROMECAST?! Google Finally Has A REAL Streaming Device! (Google TV Streamer FIRST LOOK)
Google shared details about the new 4K Google TV Streamer in a pre-release call with Lifewire , and the company is essentially calling it the Google TV Streamer. It will have a sleeker look and feel, looking much less like the dongle that many people are used to. Google has also taken the time to redesign the remote control to make it more intuitive to use.
This includes making the remote longer, optimizing the placement of the buttons so they’re where you expect them to be, and, surprisingly, a customizable button that lets you choose whether you want quick access to inputs, apps, or a shortcut to your Google Home panel. It also has Find My capabilities, which you can use with your voice or by pressing a button on the side of the Google TV Streamer.
Of course, Gemini AI is built into the Google TV Streamer. Google’s AI can give you full summaries and reviews of the shows and movies that might interest you. It also offers season-by-season recaps of shows, so you can pick up where you left off or plan your next TV marathon.
