Ivana Redwine is a former Lifewire writer who spent over a decade covering home video and DVD releases. She is the author of hundreds of DVD movie reviews, over a thousand profiles, and dozens of top DVD movie recommendation lists.

In addition to writing weekly in-depth reports on new releases, Redwine has also written articles on the technical and consumer aspects of buying and renting DVDs. She knows the difference between which movies are worth renting, which are worth buying, and which movies are just a waste of your time and hard-earned money.

Ivana received a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University Long Beach and has attended workshops through the Writers' Program at UCLA Extension.
