Jack White joins the growing list of angry musicians threatening to sue the Trump campaign over the use of their music in his promotional messages.

On Thursday, White uploaded a screenshot of the X account of Donald J. Trump’s deputy communications director Margo Martin, where she posted a now-deleted video of the Republican nominee walking out to the White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army.” White said a lawsuit from his lawyers was coming, “to add to your five thousand others,” he noted.

“Don’t even think about using my music you fascists,” White wrote in the caption of his Instagram post. “Have a great day at work today Margo Martin.” He added, “A double fuck you DonOLD for insulting our country’s veterans at Arlington you scum. You should immediately lose the voice of every military family if there’s anything meaningful left.”

White was referring to an alleged physical confrontation that occurred during the former president's visit to Arlington National Cemetery. Members of his staff were accused of violating the site's rules about unauthorized photography, with CNN reporting that a cemetery spokesperson confirmed that "there was an incident" and that "a report has been filed," though no additional details were revealed.
