Kai Cenat is still positive about Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, despite over 620 deaths. According to him, people who claim the expansion is too hard are more likely to have skill issues than other problems.
The Elden Ring DLC helped me find a therapist…
Ultra-popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat quickly returned to the world of Elden Ring ahead of the DLC's release this week, hosting another marathon Twitch stream as he blasted his way through Elden Ring's first expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree. After 32 hours, he weighed in on a recent debate within gaming fandom, dismissing suggestions that the DLC is too difficult. "It's a skill issue. Put on your big boy pants, go out there and fight," he declared (and thanks Dexerto for sharing the clip).
"I'm an ass and you're an ass," he continued. "You're an ass for saying it's too hard… what are you talking about? This is the point. This is the first major release since the first game, right? You put in all this effort two years ago, why would they make a DLC that you can beat in a day or two?"
The Twitch streamer took his own advice to “go fight” this weekend. Since the DLC dropped on Friday, Cenat has been tackling it in a death-fueled marathon stream with about the same enthusiasm he brought to his original Elden Ring marathon, which took roughly 166 hours and 1,700 deaths to beat.
