Before taking the plunge into writing, Kat was a certified SQL Server developer and administrator. She worked for several high-tech startups in the US, installing and designing large database systems and writing back-end code for the e-commerce world.

Since 2012, she has used her experience in IT to write about mobile devices, cloud technology, cybersecurity, social media, e-commerce and more. She also enjoys learning about various creative technologies in her spare time.

She is an experienced problem solver with a passion for solving problems and helping others do the same.
