Kathryn Montminy is a former Lifewire writer who wrote about video games. An avid gamer, she began publishing articles on her personal website over a decade ago. Montminy later became a contributor to SiliconEra, where she headed up the retro games section, and maintained a blog on PriceGrabber. She currently works as a freelance software developer and tutor.
Montminy earned a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Western Ontario and a degree in computer programming from Fanshawe College.
