Kensington’s new StudioCaddy is an all-in-one stand for your Apple products. It offers USB ports and Qi wireless charging for multiple devices without taking up a lot of desk space.
Kensington StudioCaddy: charge and dock all your Apple devices!
The StudioCaddy is specifically designed for the Apple ecosystem to wirelessly charge your MacBook, iPad, iPhone, and AirPods. It can also charge devices that require a wired connection, such as older iPad/iPhone models or the Apple Watch, via built-in USB-A and USB-C ports. What’s more, the StudioCaddy also has a fairly small footprint, so it won’t clutter up your desk while you’re charging your devices.
It can simultaneously hold and charge your MacBook (when closed), iPad Pro (up to 12.9 inches), iPhone, and AirPods, and includes additional USB-A and USB-C ports (charging cables not included). You can use both your iPhone and iPad Pro in landscape or portrait mode while they charge. If you want to use both your iPhone and iPad at the same time, you can detach the magnetically attached dual Qi charger to spread them out across your workspace.
By holding devices like your MacBook, iPad, and iPhone vertically, the StudioCaddy significantly reduces the amount of desk space they'd normally take up. Actual dimensions weren't officially disclosed, but the caddy reportedly has a smaller footprint than an iPad Pro. That means you can keep most of your Apple devices within arm's reach, while taking up less space than a pair of books. Kensington says the StudioCaddy is also compatible with most iPhone cases up to 3mm thick, most iPad cases, the Apple Magic Keyboard, and the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio.
