Kevin Costner has been tapped to co-write and star in Headhunters, a new surfing thriller film.

Costner recently directed Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 1 and Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 2, the former of which is currently streaming on Max, while the latter had its world premiere at the 81st Venice International Film Festival last month.
Costner says he still plans to make Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 3, but he's now started work on a new project.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Costner co-wrote the script for Headhunters with Steven Holleran. Holleran is a cinematographer who is making his feature film directorial debut with Headhunters.
