In her video, ex-employee Melissa claimed that Kick staff tried to recruit a "beloved streamer" to Kick for a low price, as the streamer was known to have cancer. Now, Kyedae has come forward to confirm that she was the streamer mentioned in Melissa's video, debunking claims made by fellow streamer xQc about the situation.
When asked about Melissa's statements on stream, Kyedae confirmed that she was offered a deal to broadcast with Kick, but she turned down the offer. "I decided morally that I don't really want to go to Kick," Kyedae said while playing a game of VALORANT. She also shared her thoughts on their alleged statements about her illness, saying that "even if they tried to exploit me for my cancer, it doesn't matter, I'm not going to accept it," referring to the attempted deal.
Kyedae continued to talk about Melissa's video on her stream, saying that she believed the statements to be true when a chatter asked her if she believed the ex-employee's claims. Kyedae made it clear that she wasn't entirely sure if the statements were about her, but noted that she didn't "think there was anyone else out there battling cancer."
