The La Crosse S88907 is a basic weather station that tracks and reports trends for indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure. It comes with an attractive, animated display with icons for multiple types of weather, but its actual forecasting capabilities are extremely limited. We recently set one up to see how well it actually works, testing things like how easy it is to set up and use, the quality of the display, and the accuracy of the temperature and humidity readings.
The S88907 weather station consists of a small sensor unit and a large display unit. When you turn them both on for the first time, they will automatically connect via a wireless 433MHz connection.
The sensor unit is very utilitarian, made of white plastic, and has a single red LED to let you know it's working when you first put the batteries in. The display unit is considerably larger and is designed to be mounted on a wall or placed upright on a desk using the built-in stand.
