EXCLUSIVE: Lana Parrilla (Once Upon a Time, The Lincoln Lawyer) has joined the cast of the USA Network series The Rainmaker, based on John Grisham's best-selling novel of the same name.

The Lionsgate and Blumhouse series from writer and executive producer Michael Seitzman follows law school grad Rudy Baylor (Milo Callaghan) as he goes head-to-head with courtroom hero Leo Drummond (John Slattery) and his girlfriend Sarah Plankmore (Madison Iseman). Rudy, along with his boss and her disheveled paralegal, uncover two interconnected conspiracies surrounding the mysterious death of their client’s son.
In a series regular role, Parrilla plays the brash, brash street lawyer Jocelyn “Bruiser” Stone, who runs the law firm of her disgraced father, J. Lyman Stone.
In the novel, Rudy is hired by the elder Stone, a glorified ambulance chaser nicknamed Bruiser, as a partner in his law firm. Mickey Rourke played J. Lyman Stone in Francis Ford Coppola's 1997 film adaptation of the novel.
