Having a steady supply of Crops in Manor Lords is essential if you want your population to saturate. But for a new player, figuring something out can be like filling in the blanks until they finally figure out what to do. So in this guide, we’ll explain how to make Crops meet the expectations of your growing population.
How to Grow Rye in Manor Lords
It is crystal clear that growing crops like Bucket and Rye are needed to make Grain and eventually Bread. However, other crops like Barley and Flax are just as important. They are needed to make Clothing and Beer respectively. But before you can get to those, you need to prepare the crops.
The fastest way to get a good amount of crops in Manor Lords is to grow them yourself. For that, you need a field and a farm. While getting a field costs nothing, you need to spend 3x wood to build a farm. Either way, to find a perfect field for your desired crop, you need to know if the land is fertile for it.
Once you press the Construction button, an Overlay section will appear on the right side. There you will find all types of crops. If you click on one of them, the piece of land that is most fertile for growing a certain crop will be highlighted. If the highlighted land is red, you should not grow your crop there. However, yellow or green (the best) are the areas where you can think about growing something.
