As far as we know, Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe is still a long way off until its 2026 release. While it is known that the events of this game are set during the witch hunts of the 16th century, the new leak adds even more to it. The latest Assassin’s Creed Hexe leak suggests that the game will reportedly feature a “Fear System.”

NEW details about Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe…

According to Insider Gaming, the “Fear System” is all set to make a return in Assassin’s Creed Hexe. For those who don’t know, this mechanic was already present in the Assassin’s Creed Syndicate: Jack The Ripper DLC. But for now, we don’t know for sure how different the Fear System will be in this upcoming Ubisoft title. If you think about it, it makes sense to have the Fear System in Assassin’s Creed Hexe, considering the ongoing events (Witch Hunts) of the game. The female protagonist, Elsa, can use her magical abilities to strike fear into the hearts of her enemies. This can be a good strategy to evade them.

In addition to the Fear System, there is another Assassin’s Creed Hexe Leak that sheds light on Elsa’s magical power. As reported by Insider Gaming, they have received footage that shows the protagonist being chased by 16th century German soldiers. In order to escape the soldiers, she creates a distraction by possessing a cat. This one event confirms that Ubisoft is going for something dark and witchy. For now, it is not certain if only the cat can be possessed or another animal. But given the current situation, you can expect it to be revealed in a new leak.

Assassin's Creed Hexe, which promises to be a linear single-player experience, is set to hit hard as Ubisoft's darkest game yet. For further updates on this and other topics, tune in to Gamer Tweak News.
