AI is all the rage, but that doesn’t mean making it work for your business is easy. This new partnership between Lenovo and Databricks aims to make finding those returns easier.
Databricks CEO on How to Spot Companies with an AI Moat
Lenovo announced the new partnership with Databricks in a press release on its website on Wednesday. The two companies plan to work together to help companies better use generative AI to achieve the outcomes and innovations they hope to find. Under the partnership, Databricks will provide the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform for data collection, while Lenovo will open the Lenovo AI Center of Excellence to help organizations define their needs and then work with the information to innovate and achieve the results they want.
“We’ve spoken with many customers at different stages of their AI journey, and while most want to reap the benefits and feel the urgency to do so, their organizations aren’t ready,” said Linda Yao, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Strategy, Lenovo Solutions & Services Group. “Our latest research found that 90% of the CIOs we surveyed see AI as a game changer, but more than half feel their organizations lack the technical capabilities to quickly scale AI.”
The results of this partnership will first be seen in Greater China and the Asia Pacific region, but will be rolled out globally in the near future. As a result of Lenovo and Databricks joining forces, Lenovo plans to provide “end-to-end expertise in data management solutions and services.”
