Review: Lenovo Chromebook C330 is one of the best budget Chromebooks
The Lenovo Chromebook C330 has a lot going for it despite its low asking price. With its touchscreen, convertible design, and smooth user experience, the C330 is positioned to offer great value for money. However, there may be too many corners cut to achieve that bargain price.
The Lenovo C330 is a lightweight device, tipping the scales at just over two and a half pounds. It’s also fairly compact, though larger than it should be given its small 11.6-inch display. Huge bezels surround the display, a cheap look that makes the screen seem even smaller. Obviously, this was done so that a large, comfortable keyboard could be included, but all that wasted screen space results in a flat, budget aesthetic.
The keyboard does indeed benefit from the extra space and offers an adequate typing experience. The trackpad is also decent, although it took us a while to get used to the lack of a right mouse button. There is also the option to navigate via touchscreen, which is necessary if you flip the device over to use it as a tablet.
