Getting Apple TV on your TV without the need for an extra hardware box just got easier. At CES in Las Vegas on Monday, LG announced that it would be integrating the Apple TV app into its 2020 and later OLED TVs, joining Samsung, Roku and Amazon in offering non-Apple hardware access to the Apple media ecosystem.

Owners of LG TV models from 2018 and 2019 will also see the app this year.
In a press release, LG said that in addition to being able to watch Apple TV+ shows, Mac and iOS users will also have access to their iTunes libraries, rentals and iTunes Media Store purchases.
LG's new 2020 lineup includes 13 new OLED models of 4K Ultra HD TVs, as well as a pair of new 8K models. All of the new sets feature "advanced core technologies" like NanoCell (Samsung calls it QLED) and new Alpha 9 Generation 3 AI processors.
