It wasn't long ago that a 60-inch HDTV was a big investment, but today that screen size is considered average at best.
2023 LG OLED evo | Largest OLED 97inch
Keeping this size war going, electronics giant LG unveiled an absolutely massive 97-inch OLED display at K-Display 2022, the largest TV and monitor showcase hosted by KDIA (Korea Display Industry Association). They’re calling it the OLED.EX, and it’s the largest OLED panel ever made.
There’s more to this Godzilla-esque TV than just its extra-large panel, though. The OLED.EX features LG’s CSO (Cinematic Sound OLED) technology, which has already been incorporated into a number of the company’s prototypes, including its previously announced 48-inch bendable OLED panel.
CSO makes the screen vibrate during use, via a thin film exciter on the back of the panel. This vibration technology turns the TV into a full-fledged 5.1 channel audio system without the need for additional speakers.
