LG just released the Gram SuperSlim laptop, which the company calls its thinnest model ever.
14" LG Gram vs M1 MacBook Air – RIP Windows CONFIRMED! 🤯
The SuperSlim was originally unveiled at the CES conference earlier this year, back when it was called the Ultraslim. There's a reason "slim" appears in both versions of the name. This laptop is a mere 0.43 inches thin and weighs just over two pounds. To put things in perspective, the infamously portable MacBook Air is 0.44 inches thick and weighs 2.7 pounds.
LG's new laptop may be small in size, but its specs look big and powerful. It comes with an Intel Evo 13th Gen processor and Intel Iris Xe GPU, with RAM options up to 32GB and solid-state storage options up to 2TB. This machine also comes with a bright 15.6-inch OLED display, which is a rarity in the laptop world. LG says this display features anti-glare technology, a 100 percent DCI-P33 color gamut, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black integration.
The company also touts the SuperSlim’s durability, noting that it’s passed seven tests to ensure military-grade durability. More durability is never a bad thing in an ultraportable laptop. Other features include a compact power adapter, three USB-C ports, and a full HD webcam complete with facial recognition software and integrated microphones.
