The default password for all Linksys E900 routers is admin. This password is case-sensitive, as are most passwords. Some routers do not require a username when logging in with the default credentials, but on the E900 it is admin, the same as the password. The default IP address of this router is the same as most Linksys routers: 192.168.1.1.
If the default username or password for your Linksys E900 router isn’t working, it means they were changed after the router was set up. Changing the default information is a smart move, but it also means you’ll be more likely to forget the new password!
To restore the default username and password of your Linksys E900 router, you need to reset the router to its factory defaults:
