Apple’s latest iOS 15 has been out in the wild for a few months now. Unsurprisingly, Apple has not removed the 2015 iPhone 6S from the update cycle, meaning that all iPhones released after the iPhone 6s are eligible for iOS 15. It should be noted, however, that most of the new features are still limited to the newer models only.

As mentioned, Apple's latest iOS 15 can run on the iPhone 6S and any other iPhone released after the super-popular device launched in 2015. However, that doesn't mean iOS 15 will run as well on older devices as it does on newer iPhones.
