Suriya’s most awaited film at the moment is Kanguva. The upcoming film was in production for a long time under the direction of Siva. Adi Narayana has narrated the story and written the screenplay with Madhan Karky. Though the film is set to go on production in 2022, the makers have kept a long shooting schedule.

Apart from Suriya, Disha Patani is also playing the lead role in the film. On the other hand, Bobby Deol has been roped in to play the lead in his Tamil debut. The plot of the film will reportedly travel 500 years, from the 1700s to 2023, and follows the story of the protagonist who has to complete his unfinished mission. Suriya will be seen in 13 different looks in the film.
