Logitech K780 | Best budget keyboard for multiple devices?

If you routinely use more than one device while you work, the Logitech K780 Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard is suited for switching on the fly. It features a convenient drawer for storing smaller devices like tablets and smartphones, and offers instant switching between them with a simple keystroke. Like many Logitech peripherals, this computer keyboard is compatible with Logitech Unifying software for nano-USB connectivity. You can also skip the Unifying receiver and connect exclusively via Bluetooth. There's plenty of flexibility to connect and work with your devices the way you want, though the actual typing experience is a little less forgiving.

The Logitech K780 offers the prospect of portability at just under 2 pounds. But at nearly 15 inches long, it was difficult to fit into an everyday bag or backpack. It’s best left in one place, though moving it from room to room (from a home office to the couch, say) was easy thanks to the lack of restrictive wires. The rubberized cradle at the top of the device is the Logitech keyboard’s most distinguishing feature. It’s wide enough to accommodate most smartphones in both vertical and horizontal orientations, and iPad Pros in landscape mode.

While it’s not ultra-portable per se, that can be a good thing for everyday use. It’s large enough to house a handy number pad, several shortcut keys for quickly switching between devices, desktops, app-specific actions, and media controls. The downside to that coin, however, is that all of the keys are rounded, which takes away the typical key travel I’m used to. Even though I have small hands, I did experience some slippage or imprecise keystrokes quite a bit. Users with larger hands will likely find both the size and shape of the keyboard less comfortable.
