Perspective on the Logitech Marathon M705 mouse
Computer peripherals range from basic to fully featured, and the Logitech Marathon Mouse M705 sits in an appealing middle ground between the two. It’s not the most luxurious or rugged option on the wireless mouse market, but its three-year battery life is unbeatable for the price, and it also comes with five programmable buttons, tilt scrolling, and two scroll speeds. This wireless mouse is also compact and comfortable for those with small hands who have a hard time finding a suitable fit between most wired and wireless mice.
The Logitech Marathon Mouse M705 has a small, squat build that’s not too long (4.76 inches) or too tall (1.65 inches) for smaller hands. Though it’s compact, it always felt stable in my hand, thanks to its solid weight of nearly 5 ounces. This mouse also has impressive button flex.
In addition to two thumb buttons, the scroll wheel features a button prompt with two independent right and left functions. The button below the scroll wheel also conveniently allows a shift from notched to hyper-fast scrolling. All five buttons are easy to reach and are very quiet and responsive.
