It's a sad fact of life in gaming that controllers, accessories and basically everything else are designed for large hands and have simple color palettes that fit the traditionally masculine identity.
Logitech's new 'gender-inclusive' PC gaming accessories come with the pink tax…
That’s slowly starting to change, because Logitech has just unveiled a full line of inclusive accessories that are colorful, playful, and designed for smaller hands. They’re calling it the Aurora Collection, and there’s a lot to unpack.
First up is the G735 wireless headset, which sports a whimsical design, complete with RGB LEDs around the circumference of the rotating earcups. There’s also braille on each side arm to distinguish left from right. The design is meant to fit smaller heads, including people who wear earrings and glasses.
There’s also a pair of peach-colored keyboards, the wireless G715 and the wired G713. These tenkeyless models feature a large volume wheel, an array of RGB LEDs around the outside, media keys, and plenty of backlighting. You can choose between tactile, linear, clicky, or GX mechanical switches at purchase, and each keyboard comes with a cloud-shaped palm rest.
