Like every year, the 2024 season will have a bi-weekly calendar with changes. These are aimed at both pro play and average players trying to climb the ranks. Patches are a crucial part of League, as they keep the game fresh. The Riot developers usually look at the strongest and weakest champions and items, but it can be a bit tricky with over 160 champions and dozens of items and runes.
Riot regularly changes how the game is played. The start of Season 14 brought a number of changes to key systems, such as the removal of the mythic item system.
