Another wave of changes has arrived in League of Legends' Arena mode. Developers have revealed that Galio and Trundle's kits will be weakened late on May 3rd, to help players get accustomed to the new meta.

The two champions have been among the most popular and successful players in League Arena following its relaunch last Wednesday, according to stats site METAsrc. Galio has appeared in more than a quarter of matches this patch, with an incredible 40.22 win percentage. Trundle is only a few points behind in all stats, but most League Arena matches so far have featured one of the pair, dominating.
The devs have opted to bring them back into line with some serious nerfs to their core abilities. Galio’s passive shield from Shield of Durand has been reduced by 20 percent at max level, while Colossus’ damage output from his Hero’s Entrance has been reduced by a third. Trundle receives a much lower bonus AD from his Chomp, and also receives a lower drain bonus from his ulti Subjugate.
Players were quick to shrug off the "tank meta" that had developed this week, with many hoping a larger adjustment was on the way, but in the meantime players will have to make do with nerfs to two chart-topping champions.
