Five years after we were introduced to Battle Queens, the Grand Coronation, and an intriguing alternate League of Legends universe where magic comes from constant battles, Riot Games is finally taking us back with more skins.
Battle Queen Gwen Skin Spotlight – Pre-Release – PBE Preview – League of Legends
The four League Champions joining the famous Battle Queens universe are Gwen, Fiora, Miss Fortune, and Annie; the latter will instead be a "Battle Princess."
These skins are expected to cost 1,350 RP (around $11 after purchasing Riot Points). Most of the new skins feature blue and gold graphical upgrades, with Gwen casting gold abilities, Annie casting blue-gold fire, and Fiora's markers being blue and purple. Miss Fortune's Q, E, and R abilities both appear to be very crystal clear. Each of the four splash arts (pictured above in the gallery) feature a similar style, with the four League Champions' new outfits each adorned in regal gold, bronze, and blue colors.
For those who want these cosmetics (and who wouldn't), the new Battle Queen skins go live in League Patch 14.17 on Wednesday, August 28.
