League of Legends Patch 14.15 may not bring new game modes or debuting champions like the previous update, but its deep gameplay changes will certainly adjust the metagame of Season 14 before the end of the year.

In this July update, developers at Riot Games take a closer look at boots, specifically the defensive variant, and why they’re being prioritized over core items. Elsewhere, more AD carry tweaks are coming following the plan’s kickstart in Patch 14.14, with dual marksman bot lanes and critical changes to items and runes both on the way.
