After the League of Legends community's theory-making machinery came crashing to the ground and no void event was found after Void-based champions were released, Riot Games has assured players that they will focus on "cohesive seasonal experiences" going forward.

One of the players on the League subreddit discussed the lack of a Void seasonal event in 2022 after the release of Bel'Veth's champion and her cinematic with Kai'Sa, hinting at an upcoming Void event.
He went on to say that with Season 14, Riot went all-in on Void-based changes to Baron Nashor, Rift Herald, and Scuttlecrab, all of which were changed according to the themes of the Void, while also adding Voidgrubs to the map, which served as an early-game objective for players. Despite all of these additions, there was no themed event to match them.
Riot's Jeremy "Bloodmoon" Lee, executive producer of League of Legends, weighed in on the conversation. He said that Riot wasn't sure how they could fully commit to a "full seasonal event with gameplay and story content," for fear that it would "disrupt" the traditional Summoner's Rift gameplay.
