The League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational broadcast team is missing one of its core members this year. Veteran League caster Isaac “Azael” Cummings-Bentley confirmed today that he will not be traveling to China for the three-week tournament.

Azael revealed in a social media post today that his father is struggling with his health, and in order to spend as much time with him as possible, he will not be traveling to China for the tournament. Instead, he will spend the foreseeable future in his home country of Canada.

Unfortunately I won't be going to MSI this year. Just hours before I was supposed to fly to China I got the terrible news that my father doesn't have much time left. I decided to cancel the trip and spend this time in Canada with my family. Thank you all for your understanding ♥

“Hours before I was scheduled to fly to China, I received the devastating news that my father’s time was running out,” Azael said on Twitter/X. “I have decided to cancel the trip and spend this time in Canada with my family.”
