Choosing a Mac laptop has never been harder than it is now, with both the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro being so good. They’re different, so let’s take a look at which is best for you.
MacBook Air 15 vs MacBook Pro 14: Which Should You Buy?
People don't realize that you can do all of your work on a MacBook Air. Which begs the question, "Why would you buy a MacBook Pro?" Because for some people, time is money, and you can do specific tasks faster on a MacBook Pro. Plus, the display on the Pro is insanely good. There are a few more ports on the Pro, which makes it a little more useful in some situations.
You can choose from 13-16" for the Air and Pro models.
The Air comes in 13- and 15-inch models, with the Pro coming in 14- and 16-inch models. The regular M2 processor is available with the entry-level Air, with the M3 chip in the other Air models. The M3 Pro and M3 Max are available with the 14- and 16-inch Pro. Only the Pro models have the higher-end display (which Apple calls Liquid Retina XDR). Fancy marketing names aside, it’s a significantly better display than what’s available on the Air (which has a good display).
