August is already a busy month for product announcements from Google, but apparently the month has only just begun and the Made by Google event has been moved up by about two months.

We’ve already seen the demise and replacement of the Chromecast and a new Nest thermostat from the advertising giant . But at Made by Google next week, we expect to see a whole lot more, from new Pixel phones and home appliances to — of course — AI. Let’s take a look at what’s predicted.

Well, we say predictions, but thanks to a flurry of leaks and Google’s own pre-announcements, we already have a pretty good idea of what we’ll be seeing on Tuesday, August 13. First up is the Pixel 9, the latest iteration of its flagship Android phone. The Pixel started out as a curiosity but has since become a solid iPhone alternative for those who don’t want to use Apple gear or simply prefer Android.
